The best way to get around the neighborhood and explore all that Edisto Island has to offer is by car. As a guest at Chasing Waves you will have access to a driveway where you can park your vehicle. From there, you can easily drive to the beach, restaurants, and other attractions in the area. Alternatively, if you prefer to explore the island on foot or by bicycle, there are several rental options available. The Edisto Bike Shop is located just a short drive away and offers bicycle rentals for adults and children. They also rent out beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach gear. There is a fantastic bike bath right behind the home. Another great option for exploring Edisto Island is by kayak or paddleboard. Edisto Watersports and Tackle, located just a few minutes away offers rentals and guided tours of the island's waterways. If you prefer not to drive, there are also taxi services available on the island with limited availability. Additionally, some restaurants and attractions may offer shuttle services for their guests.

Host was extremely communicative and helpful. The place was also fantastic, and slept 13 of us fairly comfortably. The house was very clean and extremely comfortable. The location and surroundings were wonderful, Edisto is such a lovely place. Overall, this was a perfect 5/5 stay, and I would encourage anyone to book this trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Chasing Waves beach house! The location was perfect for exploring beaches, bike and walking trails too! The house was incredibly clean and well-appointed, and Alex was very responsive to our questions. We especially loved the cozy porches with views of the oaks all around the house- would definitely recommend this listing to anyone visiting Edisto!
